February 19, 2021 in the Polish Science Day. The festival has already received the patronage of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Filmmakers Association.

The current economic crisis, climate change, ecological disasters and the disturbingly rapid development of predatory technologies are just a few examples of changes that have an impact on the transformation of the socio-economic landscape of the 21st century.

If we want the direction of these changes to support biological diversity and sustainable economic development so that we can enjoy a healthy planet for the next generations, we need to start working responsibly on expanding the awareness of our society and building strategic bridges between the world of business, the academic world and the world of industry, and the world of the latest technological discoveries.

The year 2021/2022 will be devoted to scientific films in the field of ‘green energy’.

The on-line festival will last all year round, carrying out its tasks through events such as: film screening, meetings with the director, actors and scientists. All of them will be held on-line.

The aim of the festival is to broaden the knowledge of the history of science, the genesis of scientific discoveries and revolutionary inventions. We hope that getting to know the life and work of the creators will make it easier to understand their motivations, while at the same time evoking a vocation among the young audience to these beautiful professions that constantly change our lives.

Our viewers are mainly high school graduates, pupils, students, teachers and everyone interested in this subject.

The media partner of the Festival is the Virtual Educational Fair.
